An Historic Retreat Center

Far Horizons Retreat Center is located in the heart of Sequoia National Park

Far Horizons Retreat Center was founded in 1954 by G.V. and Mary Hull. The camp was created as a practical experiment in applying theosophical principles to daily life.  The Theosophical Society is a worldwide organization founded in 1875 and dedicated to better understanding our place in the universe as well as the purpose and meaning in our lives.

A central premise of Theosophy (also called the ageless wisdom) is that we are all one. Respect for every religious tradition is a prominent theosophical principle. Membership in the Theosophical Society, or in the camp itself, is not required.
