Realizing Freedom: End Your Story, Begin Your Life
- Dates: : 6/20 – 6/24
- Presenter: : Jim Dreaver
- Program: : P1-12
- Program Fee: : $100
Imagine a life free of mental conflict and emotional suffering, so that you can express your wisdom, love, and creative power. Jim Dreaver, author of End Your Story, Begin Your Life, teaches two simple tools to realize this.
The first is a meditation practice, where you visualize yourself as empty space and experience the ease, harmony, and flow of your true, spiritual nature. The second is seeing that all thoughts, including the “I” thought, comes and goes but you—the clear, conscious person who sees—are always here. The more you embody this realization, the more powerfully liberating it is.
- Free yourself from the “stories”—above all, the “I” and “me” story—that trigger stress, anxiety, fear, guilt, anger, depression, and all other forms of emotional upset.
- Forgive everyone in your past so you can develop relationships that are rich in love, joy, and meaning.
- Awaken to the inner peace that does not depend on circumstances.
- Discover your unique purpose, and embody it with clarity and certainty.
Jim was on a spiritual journey for twenty years before finally awakening to the freedom that is his true nature. Influenced initially by the teachings of yoga, Zen, and J. Krishnamurti, in 1984 he met European nondual master Jean Klein, who became his main teacher. Jim’s mission now is to guide others to the same realization but in a much shorter time.
