Far Horizons Retreat Center welcomes you as a body-mind-spirit teacher, workshop leader, coach or spiritual guide

Far Horizons retreat center lies in a natural paradise hailed by naturalists as a jewel and protected as Sequoia National Monument. Nestled amidst the many thousand year old giant sequoias in Sequioia National Park, it invites peace, reflection and opening.

Far Horizons Retreat Center welcomes you as a body-mind-spirit teacher, workshop leader, coach or spiritual guide who wants to integrate the quiet yet powerful teachings of the earth into your facilitated retreat.

The retreat season 2011 opens June 22 and runs through September 4.

Far Horizons accommodates up to 35 of your participants in various reasonably priced lodging options; from camping to rustic private cabins with porches and fireplaces.

  • You and your guests will be fed three healthy, delicious vegetarian meals a day.
  • Far Horizons Retreats begin on Wednesday evening and end Sunday morning, but we can accommodate other options as well.
  • You create the daily schedule and the experience by incorporating mindful meandering or hiking, yoga on the rocks, an afternoon swim at Hume Lake, a labyrinth training, a drum circle at dusk and storytelling or music by the bonfire.
  • You are in control of your program at Far Horizons.

Various teaching spaces are available to you; both indoor and outdoor. A rustic wood floored meeting house with fire place and kerosene lamps for early mornings and late nights or an outdoor amphitheatre tucked under a hugs pine before a breathtaking view of the Sierras..

We welcome your proposal to present at Far Horizons Retreat Center; and for you to extend the invitation to experience a homecoming, an opening to growth and connection with others and the earth.

Far Horizons will market your program to a target audience of personal growth/consciousness/nature enthusiasts and promote via web presence, brochures, public relations, email and social networking,
