Spend three days – off the grid – in a sprawling natural environment
in which your heart can meander, mend and mine new possibilities for growth and wholeness.
Explore the patterns of your life and re-vision and re-create the life you were meant to live. Learn self-care and self-healing practices including gentle yoga and mindfulness meditation to facilitate your journey toward health and wholeness. Lucia Thornton leads retreats that focus on optimal health and wellness and creating healing environments. She developed the Model of Whole-Person Caring which was the recipient of the 2004 Norman Cousins award and serves as a prototype for creating healing cultures within the workforce. She is the immediate past-president of the American Holistic Nurses Association and helped develop one of the first inpatient hospice homes in the country.
