“Yoga for All Ages … Anywhere, Anytime” with Suza Francina

This program will cover the safe practice of all categories of yoga poses: restorative poses, standing poses, forward bends, back bends, twists, inverted poses, and supine poses. Sessions will be slow paced with props to support every level of practice. Those who are new to yoga will have the opportunity to practice gentle, modified poses, suitable for beginners. Instruction will include back care basics, yoga for scoliosis, and yoga therapy for common health issues. There will be time for questions and answers and more advanced practitioners will have the opportunity to practice with Suza. Please bring a yoga mat, strap, block, an eye bag, and two or more yoga blankets. If you have a bolster and are traveling by car, please bring it as well.

Suza Francina is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher who has taught yoga since 1972. Based in Ojai, California, she has taught at the Omega Institute and other national and international venues. Afternoons are generally open to explore the Parks, hike, swim, socialize, read, rest, or enjoy other activities.
Sunday morning session after breakfast: 10 a.m. – noon. Program adjourns after Sunday lunch.
