Yoga Flow Deeper into Balance with Kristin English

Retreat from the city, unplug completely and fill yourself with the simplicity of personal time and space. This yoga retreat is an opportunity to gather in community and harmonize in the profound nature of the High Sierras. Each morning we will begin with meditation and an all-level yoga class. We will close each day with a special event — a restorative yoga class, yoga nidra for deep sleep, or crystal singing bowls under the stars. We will explore our inner and outer nature; re-align with our circadian rhythms; and explore periods of silence, as well as have ample time for hiking, outdoor mediation, journaling, forest bathing, or just napping under the trees. A special guest teacher and musician will also participate.

Kristin English describes her life as “a journey of getting to ‘know the self,’” including unwinding suffering and dis-ease, caused by conditioning and habit patterns that are mostly unknown to us. She uses yogic teachings of mixing the ancient wisdom of the body, mind and breath connection, and she integrates an understanding of the science behind why these practices are effective in all her yoga instruction.

  • 7:30 – 9:00 – Evening Introductory Session

Friday – Sunday

  • 8:00 – Breakfast
  • 10:00 – Noon – Morning Session
  • 12:30 – Lunch
  • 6:00 – Dinner
  • 7:00 – 9:00 – Evening Session

Afternoons are generally open to explore the Parks, hike, swim, socialize, read, rest, or enjoy other activities.

Monday morning session after breakfast: 10 a.m. – noon. Program adjourns after Monday lunch.
